Nice to meet you
Hi, my name is Wanda. I have Chronic Kidney Disease. I live in Kansas. I had a kidney transplant in 2022 and I’m working on trying to keep it.
I want to write about my experiences to let others know they are not alone. Millions of people have been and are being diagnosed with CKD. I want this to be a place of information and support. I want this to become a place where others can come and share their experiences.

This is a series about my chronic kidney disease from the beginning until now. My upcoming post are going to take you from the start of my CKD, through my stint in dialysis, my stressful transplants with the series of complications that had me in and out of the hospital. I’m going to talk about my continuous journey and what I did and still doing to help strengthen my resolve.
